A development blog for my new game 'Chaos Reborn', a sequel to my 1985 ZX Spectrum classic 'Chaos' - plus some musing on games and the games industry in general.
As you'll know from my (many!) previous comments I'm increasingly becoming a big fan of your work Robert! This one does concern me a little bit though. A phoenix (based on the fantasy art that I have seen) are eagle-like, with aggressive beaks like a bird of prey. The straight beak makes him look a little less aggressive than he might look with a bird of prey's beak maybe?
I think you are right, thanks for the suggestion
Woah! New creature alert! Sounds like a pretty cool ability and fits with the lore around Phoenix.Definitely agree with WittZi regarding the look of it though. Also some form of fiery effect around it would look superb.
This creature will automatically resurrect some turns after being killedAn infinite number of times? Or just once?
Similar to other games you could make the creature revert to an egg form after being killed. After several turns the egg will hatch a new Phoenix. Destroy the egg however and the creature is gone for good.
