What happens next...
...is that I will switch to working on terrain, and you can see concepts or final 3d images of those appear sometime in the future. Thanks for the feedback, it was very useful, and assured us that we are on the right track!
I'm more excited about this game than any game in a very long time. I'm more excited about this than I am about Elite: Dangerous. I'm a big fan of yours Julian. If you ever need some help/advice with Android game development I've got quite a bit of experience in that area now.
oh my god, just by chance I happened to remember Chaos on the Spectrum, which I owned, and I remembered how much fun me, my brother and my father had playing it back in the 80s. I happened to look it up on Wikipedia and to my surprise today found out you were remaking it. I read through the blog and saw about the hex maps, the improved graphics and all the other things and I think I might cry with absolute joy! I'm so glad you're remaking this incredible game! Thank you so much!!
That's great, keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is where the fun starts! :D

ReplyDeleteAny more progress to show? :)
ReplyDeleteChaos is one of my favourite all-time games... used to spend hours with a friend playing it back in the day.
